Tapping

Tapping

“Tap” your way into a better mindset for 2021!

EFT (emotional freedom relief) tapping is a treatment for physical pain and emotional distress.

You may have never heard of this anxiety relieving technique before, or maybe you have but decided to brush the idea off because it seemed silly.

But something so small can make a huge difference in your life.

EFT tapping has been used to treat people who suffer with mental health problems such as anxiety or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

2020 has taken a toll on everybody’s physical or mental health in one way or another and now is the time to find new ways to sooth the pain the pandemic has left on us.

If you’ve found yourself spiralling into a whirlwind of negative thoughts and struggle to climb out, or if you’ve lost all confidence in yourself or lost all motivation to get up and do things you once loved, then tapping is something you should seriously consider trying.

Founder of “tapping into change” Melanie Drange has set up her own business after discovering tapping techniques which helped heal her when she needed it the most.

“I’ve been there, I’ve felt broken, lost. Irreparable”

Mel had tried everything, from antidepressants to counselling, a decade had passed, and she still struggled massively with depression and anxiety.

“Days turned into weeks, then to years, I kept putting the “I’m fine” mask, but inside I was a mess and things had to change.”

“I was thankfully introduced to EFT, this proved to be the solution I had been looking for.” Said Mel.

“And so, my journey of self-development and personal growth began.”

People who use this technique believes tapping the body can create a balance in your energy system and treat pain. According to its developer Gary Craig, a disruption in energy is the cause for all negative emotions and pain.

The treatment of tapping is similar to acupuncture, it focuses on energy hotspots to restore balance to your body’s energy. However, acupuncture uses needles to relieve stress, whereas you just use your fingertips for tapping.

Proponents say the tapping helps you access your body’s energy and send signals to the part of the brain that controls stress. They claim that stimulating the meridian points through EFT tapping can reduce the stress or negative emotion you feel from your issue, ultimately restoring balance to your disrupted energy.

Mel set up her tapping business in 2016 after reaching out to a tapping specialist.

“After doing EFT for six months, I instantly started to feel different.” Positive mindset started kicking in and I knew I wanted to be able to make a difference to other people’s lives.”

Hopefully you feel inspired by Mel’s story, and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, change can be made in your life.

Mel is just one example of how tapping has changed her life, but there is a community of people like Mel who have found comfort through tapping.

One of Mel’s clients Lisa cannot recommend tapping and Mel’s work enough:

“From the moment I walked through her door Mel made me feel so at ease, it was like meeting up with a friend you haven’t seen in a while, our sessions have helped me enormously and have helped me see that’s it’s ok not to feel ok all of the time.

I came away after 3 sessions feeling like a different person, more positive, more confident and most importantly calmer. I am so grateful to her for that.

I would highly recommend this wonderful lady, who is so passionate about what she does and who makes such a difference to people’s lives…”
